Powermax Minerals Launches 2026 Exploration at Cameron REE Project

Powermax Minerals Inc. (CSE: PMAX) (OTCQB: PWMXF) (FSE: T23) has commenced its 2026 exploration program at the wholly owned Cameron Rare Earth Element (REE) project near Revelstoke, British Columbia. The three-week campaign aims to build on previous stream sediment, soil, and rock geochemical results through detailed geological mapping, prospecting, rock, soil and stream sediment sampling, and targeted ground radiometric surveys. These efforts are designed to refine and prioritize REE exploration targets for future trenching and drilling.

The company stated that the program will integrate geological, geochemical, and radiometric data to better define previously identified REE anomaly corridors, constrain potential bedrock source areas, and improve understanding of pegmatite-hosted mineralization. Results will be used to rank exploration targets and guide future work. Management noted that the project remains at an early stage and that geochemical or radiometric anomalies do not necessarily indicate the presence of economically recoverable mineralization.

Powermax Minerals is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on advancing rare earth element projects. The company holds an option to acquire the Cameron REE Property, comprising three mineral claims totaling approximately 2,984 hectares in British Columbia. In addition, Powermax has optioned the Atikokan REE Property (455 unpatented mining claims in NW Ontario) and the 5,178-hectare Pinard REE in Northern Ontario. The company also owns a 100% interest in the Ogden Bear Lodge Project in Crook County, Wyoming.

The Cameron REE project is situated in a region known for its mineral potential, and this exploration program represents a step forward in understanding the property's REE endowment. For the mining and raw materials industry, the results could provide insights into new sources of rare earth elements, which are critical for technologies such as electric vehicles, wind turbines, and electronics. However, as with all early-stage exploration, significant work remains before any economic viability can be determined.
