Nevada Organic Phosphate Extends Murdock Mountain Phosphate Mineralization to Over 3 Kilometers

Nevada Organic Phosphate Inc. (CSE: NOP) (OTCQB: NOPFF) has announced assay results from drill hole MM26-10 at its Murdock Mountain project, which successfully intersected the Upper Phosphate Zone and extended the confirmed strike of phosphate mineralization to more than 3 kilometers. The hole, a 1.5-kilometer step-out along strike, returned 10.89% P2O5 over 3.60 meters true thickness, according to a company press release.

The company, a B.C.-based organic sedimentary phosphate exploration firm, stated that continued step-out drilling is designed to test strike continuity and refine true-thickness and grade controls across the broader Murdock Mountain trend. Heavy metal and contaminant assays from the drill hole are expected to be released following processing and review.

This extension is significant because it reinforces the scale of the Murdock Mountain project, which is believed to be the only known large-scale organic sedimentary phosphate project in North America. The project's phosphate bed is 6.6 kilometers long, and additional applications extend the potential strike of rock phosphate to over 30 kilometers. The property is situated close to the main highway to Montello/Elko, Nevada, and near the rail head to California, providing logistical advantages for future development.

The news is particularly relevant for the mining and raw materials sector, as phosphate is a critical component in fertilizers and industrial applications. With global food security concerns and the push for sustainable agriculture, securing domestic sources of organic phosphate could reduce reliance on imports and support regional supply chains. For investors and industry stakeholders, the extended mineralization at Murdock Mountain underscores the project's potential to become a significant supplier in the North American market.

Nevada Organic Phosphate is a junior exploration company focused on developing this unique asset. The company's ongoing drilling program aims to better define the resource and assess the economic viability of the deposit. As results continue to be released, the market will watch for updates on grade continuity and contaminant levels, which are crucial for determining the quality and marketability of the phosphate.
