Western Star Resources is an emerging junior mineral exploration company focused on revitalizing North America’s tungsten supply. The company is advancing its entry into the U.S. market through past-producing tungsten assets in historically important mining districts and is positioning itself to participate in the growing need for secure domestic critical mineral supply. The board appointment and investor awareness agreement come as Western Star seeks to strengthen its financial and strategic capabilities. Scott’s extensive experience with institutional investors and high-net-worth clients could help the company attract capital and navigate financial markets as it develops its tungsten assets. The investor awareness campaign, meanwhile, aims to increase visibility among retail and institutional investors, potentially improving liquidity and market recognition. For the mining industry, Western Star’s focus on tungsten—a critical mineral used in hardened metals, electronics, and defense applications—aligns with growing global efforts to secure domestic supply chains outside of China, which dominates global tungsten production. The upcoming assay results from the Rowland, White Star, and Eagle Point properties will be closely watched as indicators of the company’s progress in reviving historical tungsten mining districts in the United States.
