Trailbreaker Resources Ltd. (TBK.V) has completed its maiden drill program at the Swan Zone within its 100%-owned Atsutla Gold Project in northwestern British Columbia, Canada. The program, part of a larger initiative that also tested the Highlands Zone, comprised two diamond drill holes totaling 801 meters. The Swan Zone is a Cu-Au-Ag porphyry target defined by coincident geochemical and geophysical anomalies, including a 1.5 km x 1.5 km multi-element soil anomaly and a 2.1 km x 1.4 km chargeability high from a 2024 induced polarization survey.
The drilling tested a strike length of 1,000 meters and a vertical extent of 395 meters, with samples submitted to Bureau Veritas in Whitehorse, Yukon. Assay results are pending and will be released after compilation and verification. The Highlands Zone, located 26 km away, is a high-grade vein-hosted gold target within the Jurassic Christmas Creek batholith, while the Swan Zone is hosted in the Cretaceous Glundebery batholith.
The Atsutla Gold Project, centered over the regional Teslin-Thibert fault system, has outlined five significant gold mineralization zones since discovery in 2020. These include the Highlands Zone with up to 630 g/t Au and 1,894 g/t Ag in veins, the Christmas Creek Zone with up to 102 g/t Au, the Snook Zone with up to 53.3 g/t Au, the Willie Jack Zone with soil samples up to 3.77 g/t Au, and the Swan Zone with rock grab samples grading up to 11.7 g/t Au, 212 g/t Ag, and 0.81% Cu.
President and CEO Daithi Mac Gearailt expressed satisfaction with the program, noting it was well-executed and within budget, and thanked the drill contractor and team. The company plans to release assay results in due course, which will be critical for assessing the economic potential of the Swan Zone and the broader project.
