Noble Minerals Prepares 2,500-3,000m Drill Program at Lucas Gold Project with $215,000 Ontario Grant

Noble Mineral Exploration Inc. (TSX-V:NOB, FRANKFURT: NB7, OTCQB:NLPXF) has provided an update on its Lucas Gold Project in the Timmins area of Ontario, announcing plans for a diamond drill program of approximately 2,500 to 3,000 meters. The program is supported by a $215,000 Ontario Junior Exploration Program (OJEP) grant from the Ontario Government. A recent site visit determined that a winter road must be established to access the project, requiring time to build a stable, deep frozen base for heavy equipment. The Lucas Gold Project is drill-ready and sits about 30 km north of Timmins, a region with over 75 million ounces of gold production. It is also 20 km northeast of the Kidd Creek Mine, which has operated continuously for 58 years and produced more than 150 million tonnes of ore, and 20 km east of the Crawford Nickel Resource being developed by Canada Nickel. The General Location Map with Local Infrastructure shows the project's advantageous position near paved Highway 655, with full industry services, supplies, power, and water available in Timmins. Noble also has a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with local First Nations.

In 2018, Noble completed 15 NQ diamond drill holes totaling 3,184 meters over approximately 650 meters of strike length along a 1,700-meter gold mineralized structure identified from 2012 and 2018 airborne electromagnetic and differential magnetic surveys. The company located 37 historical drill-hole collars and twinned three of them. No further work has been done since 2018. The project hosts six discrete untested induced polarization (IP) anomalous trends, only one of which has been drill-tested. Gold mineralization is interpreted as structurally controlled, occurring as discrete lenses within a pyrite-plus-gold mineralized tuffaceous unit. The Plan of Induced Polarization Zones Projected to Surface with Collars of 2018 Drilling and Magnetic Background highlights these underexplored targets. Future work will focus on drilling IP Anomaly A to further define gold mineralization, as well as testing the other five undrilled IP anomalies for similar mineralization. The development is divided into three phases: Phase 1 aims to establish gold grade and extend the mineralized strike length to approximately 1,700 meters; Phase 2 seeks to verify gold mineralization in additional parallel IP anomalies; and Phase 3 involves geological modeling and NI 43-101 resource definition. Historical drill intersections from the 2018 program are available in Part 1 of Table 1: Gold Intersections from Noble’s 2018 Drill Program (True width not known at this time).

This announcement matters for the mining industry because it signals renewed exploration activity in the Timmins camp, a prolific gold district. The OJEP grant underscores government support for junior exploration, which could encourage similar investments in Ontario. For Noble, successful drilling could expand the known gold mineralized trend and potentially lead to a resource estimate, enhancing the company's value. The involvement of First Nations through an MoU also highlights the importance of community engagement in resource development. As the program advances, stakeholders will watch for assay results that could confirm the project's potential and attract further interest in the region.
