LaFleur Minerals Reports 6.05 g/t Gold Over 8 Metres at Bartec Target, Elevating It to Priority Status

LaFleur Minerals (CSE: LFLR) (OTCQB: LFLRF) (FSE: 3WK0) announced additional assay results from regional drilling at its Swanson Gold Project, highlighted by a near-surface intersection of 6.05 g/t gold over 8 metres, including 14.96 g/t gold over 3 metres, in hole SW-26-124 at the historical Bartec showing. The mineralized interval lies approximately 30 metres below surface and represents the first modern drill hole completed at Bartec since 1987. Based on the shallow depth, width, and grade of the intersection, LaFleur has designated Bartec, located approximately 5 km from the main Swanson Gold Deposit, as a new priority target for follow-up drilling. This discovery is significant for the company and the mining industry as it demonstrates the potential for high-grade, near-surface gold mineralization in a region with historical production but limited modern exploration. The shallow depth could translate to lower mining costs and faster development timelines, enhancing the project's economics.

Regional drilling also extended gold mineralization at Jackson approximately 1,200 metres west-northwest along strike from the historical showing, with results including 27.8 g/t gold over 1 metre in hole SW-26-113 and 0.60 g/t gold over 44 metres in SW-26-117. At Jolin, hole SW-26-103 intersected nine separate mineralized zones, including 0.58 g/t gold over 19.6 metres and 1.77 g/t gold over 6.45 metres. The regional program comprised 64 holes totaling 16,331 metres and forms part of LaFleur Minerals' broader 25,570.5-metre, 93-hole drilling program at Swanson. These results suggest a robust mineralized system that remains open for expansion, which could lead to resource growth and extend the mine life of the Swanson Gold Project.

LaFleur Minerals is focused on the development of district-scale gold projects in the Abitibi Gold Belt near Val-d'Or, Quebec. The Swanson Gold Project is approximately 20,642 hectares and includes several prospects rich in gold and critical metals previously held by Monarch Mining, Abcourt Mines, and Globex Mining. The company's recently refurbished Beacon Gold Mill is capable of processing over 750 tonnes per day and is being considered for processing mineralized material from Swanson and for custom milling operations for other nearby gold projects. The positive Preliminary Economic Assessment for the Swanson Gold Project and planned restart of the Beacon Gold Mill (refer to press release dated March 3, 2026) further supports the project's potential.

The latest news and updates relating to LFLRF are available in the company's newsroom at http://ibn.fm/LFLRF. For investors, these results highlight the potential for resource expansion and could positively impact LaFleur's valuation as the company advances its district-scale gold projects. The Abitibi Greenstone Belt is one of the world's most prolific gold-producing regions, hosting several operating mines and advanced projects, including Agnico Eagle's Canadian Malartic, Goldex and LaRonde mines, Eldorado Gold's Lamaque Complex, and others. Successful development at Swanson could contribute to the region's gold output and attract further investment to the area.
