Energy Fuels to Hit 1.6 Million Pounds of Uranium Production by Mid-Year, Reinforcing Domestic Supply Chain

Energy Fuels Inc. (NYSE American: UUUU) (TSX: EFR), a leading U.S. producer of uranium, rare earth elements and other critical materials, provided a mid-year update on its U.S. uranium segment, revealing that finished uranium production at its White Mesa Mill in Utah is expected to reach about 1.6 million pounds by June 30. This output falls within the company’s full-year guidance range, achieved in just six months.

The company stated it expects to complete its current uranium ore processing campaign by the end of June before resuming ore processing in the fourth quarter of 2026. During the interim, Energy Fuels will focus on advancing planned rare earth element circuit modifications, conventional mine development, and low-cost uranium production across its U.S. assets.

This update underscores Energy Fuels’ position as a key player in the domestic uranium supply chain, which is critical for nuclear power generation and national energy security. The company’s ability to meet production targets early provides stability to the uranium market, especially as utilities seek reliable sources amid geopolitical tensions and supply chain disruptions.

Energy Fuels is also progressing on rare earth and heavy mineral sands projects, including the Vara Mada Project in Madagascar, the Bahia Project in Brazil, and the Donald Project in Australia (through a joint venture with Astron Limited). These initiatives align with growing demand for rare earth elements used in electric vehicles, wind turbines, and defense technologies.

The White Mesa Mill remains the only fully licensed conventional uranium mill operating in the U.S., giving Energy Fuels a strategic advantage. Additionally, the company is evaluating medical isotope recovery for emerging cancer therapies, diversifying its revenue streams.
