Datavault AI Inc. (NASDAQ: DVLT) announced a proposed strategic partnership with Patriot Strategic Metals LLC to jointly develop the Strategic Materials Acquisition Platform, an institutional digital infrastructure platform designed to support the financing, tokenization, settlement and lifecycle management of strategic mineral assets. The companies said the platform would combine Patriot Strategic Metals’ strategic metals operations with Datavault AI’s real-world asset tokenization technology, AI-enabled digital infrastructure and blockchain-based settlement capabilities.
The proposed partnership contemplates an initial Phase I platform development program of up to $700 million, subject to financing, definitive agreements, board approvals and regulatory requirements, with approximately $62 million allocated for Datavault AI-related technology integration, licensing and platform development. Datavault AI said the framework is intended to create recurring revenue opportunities through technology licensing, platform services and transaction-based activities, while providing the company with a 25% share of net distributable platform profits unless otherwise agreed for specific transactions or special purpose vehicles.
This collaboration marks a significant step for Datavault AI in expanding its Web 3.0 and AI-driven data solutions into the critical minerals sector. The platform aims to address inefficiencies in the current strategic mineral market by providing a transparent, secure and efficient infrastructure for asset management. By tokenizing real-world assets, the platform could enable fractional ownership and easier liquidity for investors, potentially attracting new capital to the sector.

Datavault AI’s technology suite includes WiSA, ADIO and Sumerian patented technologies for spatial and wireless high-definition sound transmission, as well as data science solutions for experiential data perception, valuation and monetization. The company’s platform serves industries such as sports & entertainment, events & venues, biotech, education, fintech, real estate, healthcare, and energy.
The proposed platform could have broader implications for national security and supply chain resilience, as strategic minerals are critical for defense, electronics, and renewable energy technologies. By providing a digital infrastructure for these assets, the platform may enhance transparency and traceability, reducing risks associated with supply chain disruptions and geopolitical tensions.
